![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Preordering the game on Steam was a good way to go, making it in the mid $30 dollar range, and preloading it so when it became 'active' all I had to do was start it, as opposed to going to the store, buying it, bringing it home, installing it for 20 minutes, THEN playing. I am also going to try a track I know much better, like Monza, to see what I can do. I hope to spend some more time in the next hours/days to talk some more about it. So far I am pleased with it, and they seem to have done a good job. You want to change your settings, you have to leave your trailer, go to MyF1 etc. The menus are a little awkward, as like most codemasters games, every menu item is 'integrated' into the game. I was nowhere near a quick lap mind you, but I was faster then computer Massa I also had an understeery setup as well, but I am pretty sure with the pedal mashing I would, even in an RB6, would make me spin. I didn't spin on my first lap, which I found surprising with a moderate amount of pushing. The force feedback on my Logitech momo had good feedback and a good weigh to the steering. I did a time trial at Bahrain with all assists off, downforce at full, and gearing at it's shortest. Most things run great on this rig thoughĬontrols are quite good. Great car models, great track modelling, excellent detail, runs great on my i7-920 3.2ghz with an nVidia GTS250. ![]()
